Can GPS be trusted at all times ?
Well, GNSS satellite signals do not penetrate well or at all into buildings or underground structures. They are so-called “GPS -denied ” or “GPS-deprived” areas. In addition, many outdoor areas suffer from parasitic reflections of GPS signals (so-called “urban canyons” in cities) so that GPS devices display highly inaccurate positioning estimates.
SYSNAV’s objective is to provide reliable localization in such complex environments with unreliable GPS coverage.
SYSNAV’s patented magneto-inertial technology provides precise 3D positioning on any terrain (indoor / outdoor / mixed). Making up for the inadequacies of GPS and RF-based positioning solutions, SYSNAV allows accurate location tracking of people or vehicles. Our solutions do not require to deploy beacon infrastructure such as RFID, Wifi or BLE.
SYSNAV’s 3D motion tracking technology is also employed in medical research for neuromuscular diseases. We provide motion measurement wearables that deliver real-world data in clinical trials.
